hi, i'm prerna.

i was born and raised in delhi and love almost everything about it — its culture, its heritage, its food, its people. (all except the air, which does its own thing.) i love to travel, and somewhere along the way i became obsessed with people who build things — companies, ideas, careers, communities, anything that leaves the world a little different than they found it. today i work at the intersection of healthcare and ecommerce, exploring how the convergence of the two can make healthcare more accessible, efficient, and patient-centric.

outside work i'm usually reading about consumer, health, ai & hardware, or whatever rabbit hole the internet decided to send me down that week. i've written for places like the times of india, financial express, and the sunday guardian — not because i had all the answers, but because writing has always been my way of figuring out what i actually think. more recently, i've been learning to swim, playing chess, becoming better at bouldering — basically mom-lore-maxxing.

i'm drawn to intersections: art and technology. business and psychology. numbers and stories. because i don't think the interesting questions live inside niches.

my biggest shift over the past few years has been realizing that time is the greatest unfair advantage. talent compounds. luck compounds. but mostly, showing up compounds. i'm fascinated by one question i suspect i'll spend my life exploring:

why do some people create things that outlive them?

i admire people who make me rethink something i believed yesterday. if you can teach me a thing or two, we'll probably get along. if our paths have crossed, i'd love to hear what you're up to these days.
